Mikal Stole

President, Will County Bar Association

Having appeared against Erin in the courtroom for nearly 18 years as well as having served alongside her on the Will County Bar Association Board for 6 of those years, I have had a rare opportunity to observe her professionalism, judgment, and character. Few attorneys are as well prepared for judicial service as Erin O’Brien. Erin embodies the qualities we seek in a judge: intelligence, diligence, fairness, and unwavering professionalism. She approaches every matter with thoughtful preparation and a disciplined commitment to the rule of law, while treating litigants, attorneys, and court staff with respect. Her reputation for honesty and integrity is well earned. Throughout the years, I have witnessed Erin resolve complex and emotionally charged matters with strength, clarity, and composure—qualities essential to the bench. I am confident she will serve with the same even-tempered judgment as a member of the judiciary. Will County would be well served by Erin O’Brien’s election, and I give her my strongest recommendation.

As a former Republican Will County Board member who served alongside folks from both sides of the aisle, I’ve seen what real leadership looks like—and it isn’t flashy speeches or party loyalty. It’s steady judgment, fairness, and a spine when the courtroom gets tough. That’s why I’m proud to endorse my friend and neighbor, Erin O’Brien, for Will County Circuit Judge. I’ve known Erin for years—watched her volunteer at her son’s baseball games, support local charities for children and still show up to every court date with the same graceful grit. She’s not the type to grandstand; she listens, she thinks, she decides. And when she decides, it’s based on law, not headlines or politics. Will County needs judges who respect the Constitution, protect families, and keep our streets safe—without politics creeping in. Erin will do that every day, on and off the bench. Erin will bring the same integrity to the courtroom that she brings to our community. I’m voting for Erin O’Brien. You should too.

Erin is widely respected throughout Will County for her integrity and tireless work ethic as an attorney. She is articulate, an exceptional communicator, and an attentive listener who connects with people on many levels. Her profound knowledge of the law, coupled with her passion for justice, makes her precisely the kind of judge Will County deserves. I support Erin O’Brien for Will County Judge.

As a former Will County Board member, lifelong Republican, and mom who’s raising two children right here in our community, I know what keeps families safe—and what doesn’t. That’s why I’m endorsing my friend, Erin O’Brien, for Will County Circuit Judge. She’s not just tough on crime—she’s smart about it. She gets that Cook County’s revolving-door policies have spilled over our border: repeat offenders walking free, illegal immigrants committing violent acts, and our kids paying the price. She won’t stand for it. She’ll lock up dangerous criminals, hold sanctuary-city nonsense accountable, and make sure every courtroom decision puts Will County families first—not political agendas. I’ve seen her in action: calm under pressure, fair to victims, and fearless when it comes to protecting our neighborhoods. She’ll keep our streets safe so my children—and yours—can play outside without fear. She’ll stand up to the chaos coming from Chicago, not cave to it. I trust Erin with my family. I trust her with yours. Vote for Erin O’Brien on March 17th!

As a former Will County Board member and lifelong Republican, I am endorsing Erin O’Brien for Will County Circuit Judge. Erin has a rock-solid commitment to keeping our families, our kids, and our businesses safe from crime. She knows violent offenders don’t deserve second chances—they deserve consequences. She’ll protect victims, not coddle criminals. She’ll make sure our neighborhoods stay places where parents don’t lock doors twice and shop owners don’t fear break-ins. Will County deserves a judge who’ll safeguard our homes, shield our children, and stand up for law-abiding folks—without apology. Please join me and vote for Erin O’Brien on March 17th.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Erin O'Brien for many years. Erin is not only a good attorney, but also a good person. I have had her as an adversary in many cases, and have referred many of my difficult cases to her for mediation. Erin knows the law and knows how to deal with people. Erin O'Brien is an intelligent, hardworking attorney and would make an excellent judge. Erin will get my vote to become circuit court judge.

Throughout the course of my 43 year career as an attorney, I have had the opportunity to deal with thousands of attorneys, and I have found Erin to be one of the best attorneys I have ever worked with, both as opposing counsel and as a mediator. Erin has an excellent understanding of the law, a wonderful temperament and her integrity is beyond reproach. I believe Erin would be a great addition to the bench, and on March 17, 2026, I hope you will join me in voting for Erin for Judge of the Circuit Court of Will County!

It is my pleasure to recommend and endorse Erin O’Brien for Will County Judge. She’s a fantastic lawyer with character above reproach. We need good judges that do not legislate from the bench. Erin is the right person for the job.

I have been a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois since 2004, and I have matriculated with Erin O’Brien in the Will County legal community since the beginning of our careers. In a way, Erin and I grew up together practicing family law, and I have come to know and admire her to be an outstanding mediator who works with parents going through some of the most difficult times of their lives to achieve peace, civility and compromise in raising their children. Erin has an amazing ability to bring people together and is unfazed by the difficult personalities oftentimes demonstrated by people going through divorce or parenting litigation. As a mediator, Erin is required to consider two opposing sides of pending litigation, address their concerns, and resolve the pending dispute to avoid protracted litigation. She has accomplished this repeatedly in every case I have sent to her for mediation. Erin’s consistency in her professionalism, demeanor, intelligence and grace in these most difficult situations are characteristics crucial to being an excellent judge and are part of who she is as a human being. I support Erin in her endeavors because she is an experienced and intelligent attorney, a gifted mediator, my longtime friend, and embodies all of the qualities and attributes the people of Will County should want and expect to see on the bench in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.
